D for Krizia
Graphic design for the magazine-sculpture of D la Repubblica
The occasion is the event Krizia now. Looking back, going forward at Palazzo Litta during 2014 Milan Fashion Week. It celebrates 60 years of Krizia, a historical Italian prêt à porter brand. The most important Italian women’s magazines are involved in it.
D la Repubblica shows the first issue from 1996 and the most recent issue. The magazine-sculptures in the midst of a multitude of eyes are the work of The JoAnn Tan Studio.
I was asked to design the covers of the two magazine-sculptures. The back covers show different elaborations of the D logo from 1996 and 2014. In the inner pages a short phrase is interpreted graphically in the style of the magazine.
